Marketing Internship (Summer 2018)

Are you a student or graduate looking to launch your career in marketing? Are you eager to learn more about buzzwords, rankings, sales, and results? If your answer is yes, let’s talk! We are seeking 7 ambitious marketers to join our 3-month, paid internship in digital marketing.

As a marketing intern at Yardi Romania, you will be part of the largest, and we think best trained Marketing Department in Cluj-Napoca, counting over 50 professionals. You will be contributing to campaigns and projects, helping our specialists with research, optimization, documentation, analysis, copywriting and more. Plus, you will get introduced to the highly competitive American online marketing field. Gain experience and knowledge that counts, be part of a great team at a well-established IT company, earn good pay and work on projects that matter.

Which role suits you best?

This program is open to both students and graduates. No experience is required, but the willingness to learn.

Marketing Writer

  • loves to write;
  • has excellent English skills;
  • great with online research;
  • resourceful and creative.

SEO Specialist

  • tech-inclined person;
  • great with online research;
  • loves to debug and is curious to learn about how search engines work.

Paid Advertising Specialist

  • comfortable with numbers;
  • analytical person;
  • has great research skills;
  • strong English skills are a plus.

Marketing Analyst

  • analytical and critical thinker;
  • able to understand and interpret large amounts of data;
  • good research skills;
  • good English skills are a plus.

What projects will I work on?

No fetching coffee or making copies. Like other Yardi Romania interns before you, you will work on real projects like the ones mentioned below. There will be plenty of playtime too, with team buildings, a summer party and daily ping pong games.

Estera worked on light guest posts like Step Up Your Roommate Game, but also on complex projects like How Much Space Does $1,500 Rent You in the 30 Most Magnetic Cities in the World?  The latter is a project that was covered by major publications like The New York Times, Forbes and CNBC.

Roman created a website, The Burger Post,  and implemented a couple of SEO strategies to make it rank higher on Google. He said: “I can proudly say I managed to get The Burger Post on the first page of Google in a couple of weeks for both brand searches and queries like “best burger in Sibiu” or “best burger in Cluj”.

Bogdana worked on several PPC (Pay Per Click) projects, but she is particularly happy about one of them. She said: “I was the sole person responsible for a property account. By optimizing a live account, I gained a lot of useful insights as I saw major improvements.”

Our advice to you, future intern

Come hungry for knowledge. Be open to feedback. Absorb all the information you can get. Stay focused. Be patient with yourself. Still not perfect? Rinse and repeat!

  • The selection process includes a written test in English and an interview in both English and Romanian.
